How many photos do you need in your Model Portfolio?
Hii there,
I was wondering how many photos you need in your model portfolio and if they need to be something you've done in the past for a company or just professional pictures taken of you.
*Giving modeling tips and portfolio pointers is a bonus*
THANKS
If you haven't done any professional modeling and are just starting out, you don't need a portfolio. You just need to submit 2-3 pictures to agencies for consideration. All of the big agency websites tell you what sort of photos you need to submit, but usually they are an unretouched headshot with minimal makeup and hair pulled back from face, profile shot, and full body shot. Or better yet, attend one of their open calls. If they think you have potential, they will have a photographer do a few test shots and won't charge you.
If you have done professional modeling jobs before, then include these in your portfolio.
