These White LED lighting fixtures were powered by solar panels and having a huge impact on very poor villagers in the remote regions of India.
This technology was first time implemented in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh to provide low-cost, long-lasting, renewable energy home lighting systems for poor villagers.

Kerosene lamps don’t help much in providing necessary light for people to work easily, read or feel safe. What’s more, 40% of this same kerosene is resold to adulterate diesel through the black market. The kerosene lamps are dirty and pollute the environment and affect the lungs of off springs.
