Locked my keys in car can I ?
My car is a piece of crap so i was wondering can i just stick a flat head screwdriver in the lock and hammer it in and try to open the door that way will it work? its a ford 2000 van
Then you would make it so that the vehicle will no longer be able to have a (somewhat) secure interior. If you don't care about that I guess it's OK.
Try this instead. Get some wedges. (looks like a door stop, but wood)
wedge them into the door seam until there is a small 1/4 inch or so crack. Feed a bendable rod into the crack to unlock the door.
If you called triple A, that's how they would do it, except of course in a lot less time during the process.
