Why won't my train work on my Triang track?
I have a horby controller and train that work perfectly but not with the triang track. all connections seem good and trains work on other track controller is good so do i need a different controller for this track i have a hornby 900 power controller...why won't it work.
The reason it will not run on the track is because of resistance! Different metal tracks offer different resistance. Think of a light bulb, the reason it glows is because of resistance. ie. the electricity passing through the coil of metal heats the coil so that it glows right?!
Well your track might be offering too much resistance for the electricity to pass through and still have enough power left over to power the train engine. A controller which offers less resistance for power to the triang track might just cure your problem!
