Tin Train
Presentation skills training courses—discover how to melt the butterflies in your stomach
“Oh my god I am so sorry, I am shaking, I did not realise I would be this nervous, I am so sorry” this is what I have heard through a number of presentation skills training courses and I often wonder why is this person drawing attention to the one thing that I am sure they do not want people to realise?
It is known through presentation skills training courses that people tend to make this mistake but it is also known that the audience do not notice your hands shaking unless you are holding something. Through presentation training you will also find that the audience can not see your chest heaving or the fear you may be feeling inside.
I am positive it has happened to you on several occasions, we all feel it, you are waiting in anticipation to present and here come the butterflies however what you will find is that the fear that you feel before the presentation will greatly outweigh the fear you feel throughout the presentation as you realise those butterflies are flying in formation. The formation of these butterflies is a tool that is used in presentation skill training courses.
Let us just say that butterflies do exactly as they say on the tin, butter melts so will those butterflies. Give your audience the benefit of the doubt that they will support you, they will answer your questions and they will ask you questions, just remember to be yourself and use plenty of eye contact. Remember no one on the audience is sitting there hoping you fail; they are on your side.
Many people in presentation skills training courses say that smiling is the key to presenting as it lets the audience know that you are approachable whilst it also relaxes the muscles on your face, which consequently relaxes your body.
A well known tool in presentation skills training is to have a questions and answer session after the presentation as this ensures your audience has received the essential information that you wanted to tell them. Presentation skill training courses will ensure that you no longer say “words mixed up are your not” instead what ou will say is “your words are not mixed up”.

Is Australia full redneck?
I was born and live in Aus..and just wondering if aust is redneck compared to US, Canada, NZ, Europe and the rest of the world etc
i went to Asia(china, japan, korea) last year and saw that the cities were so big and cosmopolitian like you cannot compare it to sydney, the people in asia dress in the lastest fashion and have cool hairstyles, clothes but in Australia people wear wife beater singlets, ugg boots and crap from BigW and the transport in asia is hell good like metros and modern buses but where i live u get a shitty tin train thats is bombed with tags and goes 10Km/h!!
im not critising or bitching just wanted to know if Australia was redneck?
(and don't say why dont u live in asia etc)
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
not that i mind its redneck just wondering
i didnt delete anything
Well I don’t think that you are describing what you have seen correctly. Redneck certainly doesn’t mean what you think it does.
Australia is different from Asia and other parts of the world, as are those countries to others. Maybe the places you are seeing in Sydney are not a good representation. Some people just don’t care how they look or how they are perceived. Strangely!
Also, some younger kids think it’s really cool to dress like they just woke up. The track suit pants and the ugg boots. (UGLY)
Anyways, when I was overseas I saw things that I thought were different and maybe not what I would like to live amongst, however they didn’t make me like the place less. Instead it made me see the culture and what that country had to offer. So in response to your question, No I don’t think Australia is Redneck! I think it might be different and at times backwards but it is also charming!
