Building a desktop computer need help with DVD drive.?

Ok so im building a desktop for gaming and i wanted to use my old DVD drive . My motherboard is a XNX 780i and so it has an IDE plug. However my old computer had two DVD drives (one burner) and the IDE cable has slave/master written on it. These drives are from 2002. How hard would it be to use them ? Thanks

as far as i know all modern day motherboards have just one IDE slot for just such an occasion, it should be possible to run both master an slave off the one. however if it was me id just use the one that can burn (change the jumper settings to master off course) an then buy a SATA one later for about $40...
