I am thinking of buying an old style Renault megane, is it a good car?
i am sitting my driving test on monday, so this will be my first car, i know most people say new drivers should buy 3 a 3 door car, but i am 36 with 2 small children and therefore 2 carseats and assorted kids stuff in the back, ideally it needs to be a 4 or 5 door car.
I have seen the megane i want, as i said it's old style and i was wondereing what its like.

Personally I don't rate Meganes much, although the old model is more reliable than the new one. They can have all sorts of hard-to-trace electrical faults which will drive you mad. I'd go for a Ford Focus instead.
