Truck Body Accessories 101
Your truck is a creation of beauty and precision engineering, designed for power and top of the line performance. However, making your ride stand out can be problematic, if you don't know what accessories are available for your truck. Surprisingly, many of the same accessories and custom options available for tuner cars are also available for trucks. Here are a few of the most popular ways to customize your truck.
Tonneau Covers: The tonneau cover is a great way to cover the bed of your truck. Unlike a camper shell, the cover lies flat on the sides of the bed, giving you a better look. These covers come in a number of configurations. You'll find some models with pneumatic struts supporting the entire cover, while other shave a hinged access area near the back of the cover. No matter how you cut it, these are great items to add some spice to your truck.
Fender Flares: Why stick with the stock look of your truck? Fender flares can give you an excellent way to customize your ride, without resorting to a full body kit. You will find fender flare available in a wide array of colors, styles and even textures. Whether you want a sleek look or crave something more rugged and aggressive, there are numerous options on the market for your needs. You can choose contrasting black/gray or you can opt for color matching, depending on your wants.
Sidesteps: Nothing says "rugged" quite like sidesteps. These bars span the distance between the front fender and just behind the door, providing access to the interior of taller vehicles. However, you don't need a jacked up truck to appreciate the beauty, durability and functionality of a great set of sidesteps. Chrome, black and stainless steel finishes are widely available for your enjoyment.
Roll Pans: Roll pans take the place of your bumper and provide you with the sleek, seamless look that you demand. You'll find a wide variety of styles and color from which to choose; most roll pans feature a built in license plate box for your convenience, while others feature shaved steps and more.
Wing Spoilers: Wings are not confined to use on cars alone. You can find some hot wings that will bolt onto the tonneau cover of your truck. Not only do these provide a great look for your ride, they also provide additional down force for your rear drive wheels. This gives you better traction and better performance. Wings are available in a wide variety of styles and colors to match your other accessories.
Body Kits: Body kits are another innovation not resigned to use on cars only. You'll find that you can achieve almost any look you want with modern body kits. You can use them to drop your truck to the road, or simply to add even more aggressive styling to your ride. Body kits usually come with front bumpers and side panels; you'll need to use roll pans on the rear of the truck.

How do I get a dead horseshoe crab's body to decompose quickly so I can keep the shell?
first, take it away from your house,they stink to high heave while they decompose.now, put the critter in a spot where the sun will hit it all day long.you may want to put it into something that draws heat and that an animal can't get into..next, pour bleach on it , this will help to keep animals off of it.check it daily and you will find that in a week or so, no soft body tissue remains.carefull when you move it , it will fall apart quite easily.
