Tips to Help You Learn to Sing and Improve Your Voice
Do you want to learn to sing and improve your voice better? Below are some helpful tips on how to reach dream of becoming a successful singer.
•Breath from your diaphragm - In learning to sing you need also to learn to breath from your diaphragm and not from your lungs as what commonly mistaken by many people. To do this, you must control the air that you are expelling when you sing. Breathing from your diaphragm gives you more air to reach the high notes and sustain them. You should inhale that your stomach goes out rather than your chest. Focus on using the same amount of air both for high and low notes.
•Practice through scales more often - It is important that you need to get your sense of pitch down and train your voice to reach higher notes if you really want to hit all the notes in your voice range.
•Do not strain your voice - You should avoid drinking cold water or any beverages. You must not do a lot of practice to a point of straining your voice. You must take good care of your voice. If you feel that you are tired of practicing and you feel that your voice is straining or you feel pain, stop right away, and rest your voice.
•Listen to criticism from other people - Do not let anyone get you down, if you hear criticism from other people, do not let yourself be affected, instead think of it as a challenge. Especially if you are still starting it cannot be avoided that people will comment on you and a lot of them could be negative. Do not listen to them, instead focus more in your practice and in improve well in your chosen craft.
•Record your own voice - One of the best way to hear or know your mistakes is by recording your own voice singing a song that you really like. You may not like what you will hear with your first recording, but in time you will improve especially if you have the right tools and the right training.
•Consult other singers - Taking your time talking with other established singers will help you get more tips and techniques. They can give you quality and tested techniques on how to learn to sing. The best way to ask for advice are the people who are already established and tested in your chosen craft.
•Eat a healthy diet - You must only eat foods that are healthy and right for you. Do not drink and eat foods that will harm your voice and cause damage to your voice. Caffeine is very bad for you, so you should refrain from this. Dairy products are also not advisable because this causes mucous build up. One more important thing is that, do not drink and smoke too much.
•Experiment with different sounds - If you want to expand your voice range, it is helpful if you practice certain noises like nasal notes.

Hi, I was planning to purchase 8 life like remote switches (HO scale) from Walthers.com, and was wondering how much shipping would be. I looked at the shipping information page and it said standard shipping is 8.95. So, if I were to buy 8 switches, the shipping would cost 8.95? or is it 8.95 per switch? or how do they calculate shipping? thanks a lot.
