Any ideas for a home based business in a beautiful victorian home on a 14 acre farmette?
I recently moved into a 14 acre property with horse facilities, pastures, wooded land and gorgeous gardens. The house is an old victorian, very beautiful and was once an English tea room that just closed 3 years ago. I would love to incorporate the beautiful house and gardens into some type of home based business. I don't know if serving tea or food of any kind is really my forte. I am a licensed massage therapist by trade and I'm still undecided as to whether or not I want to continue in that line of work. We don't have enough bathrooms in the house for a B&B. Any ideas for how I can share this beautiful property with the public and make some money in the process? Small scale farming ideas are welcome too. Thanks!

However, you could use the gardens to grow herbs and herbal-based products in a room or two dedicated for a shop.
Lavender, basil, calendula, echinachea (purple-cone flower), baby's breath, dried flower arrangements... lots of possibilities.
You could also board horses, dedicate a room for a massage business, keep a few ewes or goats for specialty cheese making or wool for yarn that you dye from home-grown dye plants.....
