Scale Kato

Will my (Japanese) Kato Shinkansen 500 "Nozomi" (N scale) run on code 55 track?

It just wont run on my code 80 15" curves on the mainline because of the switches (probably), so I'm building a separate mainline. I want to use as little flextrack as possible, and 15" curves (I don't have the space for any larger curves) are only available in code 55 track.

It will absolutely run on code 55 track... I have taken one and repainted it as a possible California High-Speed Rail train and it works just fine.

The 15 inch radius CURVES is what will cause the trouble. I understand the problem, but I have nothing less that 24" turns on my mainline.
