Scale Bachmann
The Bachmann Model Train
Model railroading hobby started for almost centuries ago and still keeps on going strong up until today. And since the hobby started, there is one company that was always there by the side of the hobbyists. The Bachmann Industries is the name of the company that I was talking about. Amongst the Model Railroad manufacturers, the Bachmann models are considered to be as one of the models that hobbyists want to have. The company stood the test of time, and kept the heart of the model railroading beating up until now. If you try to ask model railroaders on what brand of miniature products do they want to have, their answer would probably be the Bachmann model products.
There are a lot of model scales that you can choose from when it comes to the Bachmann model products as it comes in various scales. The N scale, HO scale, and O scale are three of their most popular and sought out scales. For the benefit of those who are just beginning with this hobby, model trains come in various scales, and the scale is the amount of size the model train is reduced in proportion to the size of the real train. If you have a model train, you should also have a model track for your model train to run on. And when it comes to model tracks, they are measured in gauges and have designated model scales. To make things clearer, here are some model rain scales and their description along with the track gauges designated for each given model scales.
N Scale: Capturing really good sceneries can be possible with the help of the N scale as it is fairly smaller in size. If you are focusing more on making the whole layout look better, then this model scale is the best choice for you as it permits a larger space layout. You can concentrate more on setting up your landscaping and track designs using this model scale. You can try to imagine yourself riding a hot air balloon and looking down at a railroad track in a wide view. The N scale is 1:160, and that is why it is fairly small because its size is 160 times smaller as compared to the real train. The designated track gauge for this type of model scale is .353".
O Scale: The O scale is known for its large size. But being large in size doesn't mean being unpopular since it's one of the most popular model scale that the Bachmann Industries have. This is because the O scale allows you to put high details on each train car. It has a scale of 1.48, meaning 48 times reduced in size as compared to a real train. Track gauge of 1.25" is the designated track for this model scale. He only problem with this model scale is that, it may cost you to spill out some cash since the O model scale costs a bit expensive. And considering the current status of living that we have these days, it may not be advisable to purchase this model just for a hobby, unless you can afford to buy one.
HO Scale: When talking about model train scales, the HO scale is perhaps the most popular and sought after amongst all model scales available. What made it popular is the balance in size as being not too large and not too small either. It allows you to put a lot of details in each train car and at the same time doesn't overshadow that layout too. HO model scale is 1:87, and the specific track gauge for it is 0.650".
Those are just some of the most popular model train scales that can be purchased at Bachmann Industries. These models come in plastic forms, but if you don't want plastic models, then you can always look for other companies as they surely have non-plastic model.

How do you install the switch track for a bachmann e-z track HO Scale Train track?
I need more details about the wiring.
One wire is a common ground and the other two throw the points one way or the other. Usually the centre wire is the ground.
To check the others before you solder, touch the wire to one button on the electric switch board and then touch the button on, note the direction of the turnout. That button throws the switch that way. If its wrong switch to the other wire, and solder. Solder the last wire to the other button. Test to make sure.
When throwing turnouts, make sure you just touch the button - don't hold it down. Holding it down may cause you to burn out the relay that moves the throwbar.
