Railway reservation is an essential step to commence any journey on the trains run by Indian Railways. Keeping in mind the last time chaos of passengers, Indian Railways offers railways reservation facility. According to you desired destination and travelling class you can make Indian railway reservation. Indian Railways offers indianrailway reservation facility three month in advance. That is, passengers can book their tickets through advance railways reservation system, three month before their original journey date.
For travelling on trains, Indian railway reservation can be done ai the computerised railways reservation centre located in almost all the railway stations of the country. Passengers with confirmed reservation tickets booked through Indianrailway reservation are allotted berths at the time of booking. Berth numbers along with boggy number remain indicated on the ticket booked through railways reservation, except the First Class AC. For first class tickets booked through Indian railway reservation, seats are allotted to passengers at the time of chart preparation, before the departure of train.
RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation) and wait listed (WL) tickets are also issued to passengers through Indianrailway reservation system. Such passengers can be provided confirmed berths if any ticket cancellation is done before the departure or any seat remains vacant during the journey. Passengers need to consult the en-route train TTE (Ticket Collector or Conductor) to avail the facility.
For your convenience the railways also offers railways reservation facility for journeys originating from some other station as per your wish to any destination of your choice. This facility of Indian railway reservation can be availed by paying a nominal charge ranging from Rs. 10 to 15 as per the journey class.
However, passengers travelling by Rajdhani Express, Shatabdi Express and Jan Shatabdi Express need to pay additional reservation fee on ticket issued through railways reservation system for journeys originating from other than the ticket booking stations. Additional Indian Railway reservation fee for such tickets is Rs. 20, excluding Jan Shatabdi Second Class (Rs. 15).

One Railway Application form, will the current franchise still accept it?
I have an application form on my system used for applying for jobs at One Railway. However, since February, the name has changed to National Express East Anglia. Will they still accept the application form, or must it be branded National Express to be accepted?
If it is only a "branding" change, then there should be no problem. But if it is a change of franchisee, then probably not.
If I were you, I would e-mail the HR section of National Express and ask for a revised form.
