Out of focus area on my 42" rear proj tv?
Hi - my Sony 42" rear proj tv (6 years or so) developed a blurry/double image in the lower left corner after the move last time, I believe, it has gotten larger since then & has increased towards the right. I'm told that the rear proj lamps might be out of allignment but the repair costs are not only cost prohibitive but illogical as well (i can add $100/200 towards a new one!). Can anyone help please? Much appreciated & thanx in advance!!!
yea man..... the only thing your gonna need to do it possibly replace the wheel or the bulb holder for allignment reasons.... sucks because your right..... gonna cost ya.....
Go get a new one. I just bought a new DLP HD 60".... things incredible.... its an ultra thin which means its only 10 inches thick. cost me around $3,000.... but worth every penny!
