How long are parts made for a car not in production?
I'm considering buying a Saturn, which GM has decided will no longer be made after 2011. I believe there is some sort of law stating GM must manufacture parts for the car for __ years afterwards. Does anyone have any knowledge on this, or can someone provide me with proof I will be able to buy new original parts in, say, 2018?
The car is a newly made model. It's gotten higher reviews than past Saturn models, and isn't as cheap or cheaply made as past models.
unaware of a law..but your saturn wont be around for long..they aren't very good cars..sorry..I work for an after market car parts company..good luck..
