What would cause power steering whine on a dodge truck?
Just changed the steering gear and now it sounds like the power steering pump is whining. Weird thing is, it doesnt do it when I turn the wheel and the truck is at a stop, only when I excelerate and especially while driving around turns or corners. Reservoir is full and no leaks coming from the line. Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? ('01 ram 2500 4x4 cummins)
it sounds like trapped air in the system, it should go away on its own if not then you may need to replace the pump.
