It is a favourite travel destination as East truly meets West in beautiful Toronto. With stunning scenery, a diverse culture and friendly locals, Toronto sees a steady stream of visitors from around the world. As such, it is fairly easy to get to Toronto.
By Air - For traveling to Toronto, there are two major airports - Pearson International Airport and Toronto City Centre Airport. The former is much more accessible and active than the latter. Pearson International Airport consists of two terminals catering to flights from all over the world. Once you are out of the airport, there are several ways for you to head downtown. The airport runs a bus service that stops at some of the hotels downtown. You can also use the public bus service. Tickets are available at the airpor t. There are also express bus services that take you to Yorkdale and York Mills subway stations.
The Toronto City Centre Airport is home mainly to Porter Airlines, which provide direct flights from cities such as New York, Montreal and Ottawa. There are also a few Northeast US flights. Once you have arrived, you can either take the free ferry service to the mainland or the free shuttle bus to Toronto's Central Union station.
By Bus - Bus travel is also another way you can get to Toronto. This applies mainly to people traveling from other parts of Canada as well as New York City. Although there are many bus service provides, major ones include Greyhound, GO Transit, Coach Canada, Megabus and Ontaria Northlands. Bus tickets are reasonably priced. Some of them require advance booking, so be sure to take note of that. Also, different bus service providers cater to different routes so you may want to do some preliminary research that can help you to choose the route that best caters to your intended destination.
By Train - If you are travelling from New York City or other parts of Canada, such as Montreal, Ottawa, Windsor, Sarnia or Niagara Falls, you may want to consider hopping onto a train to get to Toronto. There is a wide variety of train travel options for you to choose from - there are express trains, overnight trains, daily trains and hourly trains. It would be wise to plan your journey in advance according to your specific needs. Train travel is quite a popular option as it is both reasonably priced and fairly relaxing.Visit here http://immigrationsupport-org.blogspot.com

ontario northland are they on strike?
I would like to go up to north bay but heard the bus is on strike?
This is absolutely false. They were on strike two years ago in 2007. The strike started back in September 2007 and it lasted until December 2007.
Therefore, Ontario Northland (for bus and train) is NOT on strike at this time. I hope this helps. One other thing, when are you going to North Bay? To check out the latest schedules, please go to http://www.ontarionorthland.ca
Hope this helps.
