why does my car drive better when the gas tank is full?
i have noticed that when i fill my car with gas it seems to react better in curves and just in general. when it is near empty it is almost on the sloppy side in reaction. i haven't only noticed this in my present car, it has always been an observation and i was looking for the reasoning. thanks!
The reason for this might be weight distribution. Car companies design car's weight to be distributed as evenly as possible, and usually they keep in mind the weight of a full tank of gas and base the distribution on that weight, thus giving it better handling with a full tank of gas.
