Does anyone know the name and location of a restaurant that serves food via model train?
I remember this place from when I was a child and so do a few other people. It was either in Los Angeles or Chicago. My mom thinks that I am nuts and must have dreamed it and turned it into reality....but others remember too! Now if we could just figure out the name.....
There are still a number of these restaurants left in the country. While I don't know about Los Angeles or Chicago (but see below), one that definitely still exists is Fritz's in Kansas City. The food is pretty good there.

In checking for Fritz's address, I saw that there is even a model train restaurant chain franchise called Choo Choo Johnny's. If you sit at the counter, your food is brought by train, and the main store is in Frankfort, Illinois, outside of Chicago. Could this be the one you remember?
