How Did Bal Harbour Shops Create Its Spring 2010 Fashion Magazine?
The Inspiration for Bal Harbour's Cover Story: To pair the breathtaking beauty of the Everglades with high fashion. We were attracted to the unbelievable imagery taken by the famous Clyde Butcher, who has made a career out of shooting the River of Grass. We were intrigued by how different the light feels there and wanted a photographer skilled enough to understand how to best capture that light, and give the pictures a painterly quality.
Bal Harbour Magazine's Photo Team: Greg Lotus is a master with light. He is one of the few fashion photographers who shoots from his gut and does his best work on location. He was the perfect choice.
Then, we finally secured a date--Jan 15. Now for the stylist. Greg wanted Danny Santiago. Danny, who had just wrapped his duties for Sex in the City 2, was thrilled; he and Greg have done countless shoots for Italian Vogue. With the team in place, we scouted our location.
The Element of Surprise: Making beautiful images is hard, but making memorable and beautiful is masterful. While we knew these clothes hand-picked from the Spring 2010 shows would look amazing paired with the scenery, we wanted to add a little something else, something memorable. So.... we got ourselves a giraffe.
The Model: Natalia Bogdanova has grabbed the attention of the modeling world lately. Greg had worked with her and she was his top choice. Once we reviewed the 5'10" Russian-born model's portfolio, we agreed. While this rising star has already worked with stellar photographers, she is no diva. She was game for anything, even as our giraffe nibbled on her as Greg captured shot after shot.
The Day Of: On the morning of Jan. 15 we awoke to a crystal clear day and drove out to the Everglades. First, we went through the fashions from Bal Harbour Shops that Danny had pulled for our shoot. We knew we would start by using the giraffe, and the first four shots went exactly as we hoped. So it was time to head deep into the Glades, expensive equipment and even more expensive merchandise on board. Greg jumped into the swamp and beckoned the model to do the same. Shockingly she did, with a smile on here face (see the gorgeous shot with the Emporio Armani sequined cardigan). She waded through the swamp, and then put on Jimmy Choos and stood on a platform balancing herself and an umbrella! Finally we decided to take out the baby alligator. Natalia, unbelievably, grabbed hold of the gator as Greg snapped away on one of the cover shots. The perfect end to our day.

I am looking for a hooked on crochet magazine the issue I want is for Jan/Feb?
pattern in this magazine is called Mary Grace dress for a baby, design by Carol Carlile the year is for 2000 I forgot to put that at the end of my question
A lot of craft magazines sell back issues. If you have a current issue, look for their phone number or address and ask if they have back issues for sale. Look around the 'small print' where they list the magazines information (like editors, offices, etc.), it might even say it there that "if you want older issues, call this number."
