How did i change like this?
When i was little and lived at my older house, there used to be loads of grass hoppers in the spring. i used to kill so many of them it wasn'te ven funny. I would stomp on them and sometimes even grab them with pliers and pull of their antennae and legs. I even used to stuff them into this hole in these wooden steps i had in my backyard until there were like 30 of them mashed in there, and the hole was just a bunch of dead grasshopper guts and body peices. Then next spring came and i could barley find any grasshopers, so i think i ruined the grasshopper population the year before.
But now, I feel bad if i kill anything. When i see a spider climbing up a wall in my house i leave it alone becuase i don't want to kill it, and people ask me all the time why don't kill birds/rabbits with my air rifle, but it's becuase I would feel really bad if i did. Do most people change past behaviors like this when they get older? I'm 17 now and i was about 8 during grasshopper genocide.
yeah at 8 i was the same i LOVED killing insects and stuff but as you mature you kinda see how childish it was so you dont do it for fun anymore you do it only if theyre like seriously bothering you like if they bite ya or something
