What personal items can I buy at the general store on a cruise?
Do they sell personal toiletries such as tampons, pads, shampoo, hairbrushes, razors, hair ties, ect. on royal carribean cruises?
Yes, the cruises I've been on will sell tampons, pads, and razors, and aspirin at there general store. They normally place shampoo, conditioner and lotion in the cabin bathroom. If you forget something like a toothbrush they made provide these as well. Just check with the pursers deck on the ship.
I've left some of my personal items behind and I personally won't purchase them in the store on the boat. It's much cheaper to go to a local pharmacy at your port of calls. Like others have mentioned they're way to expensive onboard.
Now as far as hair ties and accessories you need for your hair, what I've found is most ships have a souvenior shop where you can purchase these items.
I would check online with the cruise line about what is available. If not, call them to make sure. Mostly, the things you don't want to forget is your reservation, ID, and if possible a passport. Have a great trip.
