Honda Throttle Body Spacers: Little Investments That Go a Long Way
Generally speaking, the more air we can get into our lungs, the more we can sustain physical activity. Athletes who live at high altitudes reportedly perform better compared to their sea-level rivals because they have bigger lungs. Conversely, we can pass out when the air gets too thin; and we get tired easily if we smoke a pack or two a day. Essentially, the same is true for cars. The more air you can get into your cylinders, the more power you have to rip the road apart. However, the less air your engine can inhale, the lamer it gets!
Being a proud owner of a Honda, you will be glad to know that you can optimize the high performance of your vehicle even further with a Honda throttle body spacer. Easily installed between the stock throttle body and the intake manifold, the Honda throttle body spacer elongates the inlet so that incoming air can rotate freely and thus break up the air stream flowing to your cylinders. This lets the droplets of fuel to atomize more thoroughly in the engine, creating a very fine air/fuel mist that is easily compressed and completely burned in the combustion chamber. This increase in engine efficiency results in tremendous gains in horsepower, torque, and gas mileage! What can be better than burning more road faster for less fuel? More than this, installing a Honda throttle body spacer also makes your car more environment-friendly, since fuel burned completely produces less pollution.
Honda throttle body spacers are inexpensive investments that pay off huge in terms of increased fuel economy and absolute power-driving pleasure. You can also combine your Honda throttle body spacer with other performance-optimizing components such as the Honda header and the Honda cold air intake system to unleash the full potential of your Honda. Once you’ve installed your Honda upgrades, do breathe deep—you’re in for one exhilarating ride!

How can I make my son's dirt bike stop running at full throttle?
My son has a Baja 49, 4 stroke, when he starts it ,it runs at full throttle, I adjusted the throttle cable and the carburetor by 1 1/2 turns with no change, can anyone help me?
On a 4 stroke, an air leak wouldn't cause the bike to run at full throttle. That's a 2 stroke characteristic. For some reason the throttle slide isn't returning.
-When you turn the throttle twist grip (handlebars), do you feel any spring tension? Will the twist grip return on it's own? Could be a damaged cable.
-The throttle slide has a groove cut in it to keep it from turning. It rides on a pin in the carb. The pin can be damaged, jambing the slide wide open.
-The slide could've come up high enough to turn and spin, just enough so the groove and pin weren't lined up.
-The slide can be gumed up with bad gas, preventing it from returning.
-The jet "needle" (in the throttle slide) might have come out of the jet needle holder (the main jet screws into it in the float bowl). The needle might not be able to get back in the hole, holding the slide up.
-Look in the back of the carb (where the air box manifold attaches) and try to lift the slide. It should spring closed on it's own.
-Remove the carb top and slide. Check if the needle is in properly. Re-install the slide. Does it feel like it's going in all the way without any resistance?
