Another question about homeruns in yankee stadium...?
i know that right field is short. and i know that there is a wind tunnel. but do u think that it seems even worse (the amount of hr. flying out of yankee stadium) just because the yanks hit a lot of homeruns in general? i mean its a team that hits a lot of homeruns anywhere they go. fenway park is not exactly a hitters ball park and they hit 3 there last night. yes i know its a problem at yankee stadium but do u think it just seems worse because this team simply is a homerun hitting team everywhere?
Frankly I don't see it as a problem. Why everyone is making such an issue out of it is beyond me. It is what it is. Look at Citizen's Bank Park in Philadelphia. The same can be said about all three outfields. It's a launching pad however we don't hear nearly as much about that park.
The Yankees lineup is extremely powerful and as you've said already, they hit a lot of home runs. As a Yankee fan, I'm good with it! lol
