Unique Features And Benefits Of A Double Ended Bath
A popular bath used by many homeowners today is the Double Ended Bath. There are two main reasons why you would want to buy a double Ended Bath. The first being it’s symmetrical shape; this gives depth and character to any modern bathroom. The second is the potential to bathe with your partner; Double Ended Baths shape and size can easily accommodate two bathers. Both ends of double ended bath have a carefully crafted ergonomic shape so that both bathers can soak in the tub comfortably without annoyingly sitting on the plug. There are different designs and styles of Double Ended baths so it is up to you to choose which one would best suite your bathroom and your lifestyle.
Each end of a Double Ended bath has a sloping seat or recliner that serves as back support for the bather, this back support enables both occupants to sit or recline in the bathtub. The special design of the back support will conform to the shape of your back; so do not be surprised if you fall asleep while bathing as a result of the amazing comfort.
Some Double Ended Baths are free standing; others can be installed in your bathroom like a normal bath. There are also several options that allow you to sink your Double Ended Bath in to the floor. Freestanding Double Ended Baths are more versatile, giving you the option to re-arrange the layout of your bathroom. Double Ended Baths have the waste hole in the center of the bath and the taps are usually fitted in the center of the bath, but most Double Ended Baths are supplied un-drilled which means that you can put your taps wherever you like.
Double Ended Baths are typically designed to accommodate two people, which means they are usually wider than a standard bath. A standard bath is roughly 1700mm x 700mm, a Double Ended Bath can be from 1700mm x 750mm and wider; It is also quite common to see 1800mm Double Ended Baths. "Mill-ends" Yarn?
Can someone explain what "mill-ends" yarn is? I see it very often, usually packaged by the pound but does this mean it's discontinued, "irregular" in some manner, overage? Thank you!
I have often purchased mill-ends yarn. Some of it was really unusable but most of it was fine. I've had to untangle a bit of it, too, sometimes. The price I paid for it was so good, however, that it was definitely worth it. I had so much of the good, usable yarn (even after I tossed the bad stuff) that it was like I'd gotten it for less than half-price. It's wise to purchase a little extra so you'll have enough if you have to discard a little bit of it.
Mill-ends usually refers to yarn that's left over when the mill packages that color. It can be the end of the dye lot, or it can be the last few hundred yards that weren't needed in that run (they usually run a little extra to be sure they have enough in case something goes funky, so when nothing does, they have leftovers,) or it can be some that went wonky when they put the wrappers on, or it can be lots of things. It's usually sold in a plastic bag without its traditional yarn wrappers. If you need the info on the wrapper, you can look it up online at the company's website or you can cut a bit of your yarn off and ake that little bit to the store and match it and read the wrapper info there.
